苄基三乙基氯化铵制备: 在干燥的100mL圆底烧瓶中,依次加入氯化苄、 三乙胺和 1,2-二氯乙烷。搭建好装置。在石棉网上用小火空气浴加热。回流 。期间间歇振荡反应瓶。反应毕,将反应液冷却,即析出折白色结晶。抽滤,将固体滤饼压干。得到白色固体(产品)。滤液倒入指定的回收瓶中。
TEAB可由三乙铵和氯化苄直接作用制得。一般反应可在二氯乙烷、苯、甲苯、等溶剂中进行。生成的产物TEAB不溶于有机溶剂而以晶体析出,过滤即得产品。

First Aid Measures
【Ingestion】Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid. Do NOT induce vomiting. If conscious and alert, rinse mouth and drink 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water.
【Inhalation】Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid. DO NOT use mouth-to-mouth respiration. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration using oxygen and a suitable mechanical device such as a bag and a mask.
【Skin】Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of soap and water.
【Eyes】Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Handling and Storage
【Storage】Keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container closed when not in use.
【Handling】Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use with adequate ventilation. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Empty containers retain product residue, (liquid and/or vapor), and can be dangerous. Avoid contact with heat, sparks and flame. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or expose empty containers to heat, sparks or flames.

【Inhalation】May cause respiratory tract irritation. Olfactory fatigue may occur. Can produce delayed pulmonary edema.
