15-HETE由花生四烯酸(AA)通过15-脂氧合酶(LOX)活性形成(1)。已经表明-HETE参与多种病理状况,包括癌症(2)、高血压(3)、过敏性鼻炎(4)和关节炎(5)。有趣的是,15-LOX还产生脂毒素A4和B4。也可以使用这种15(S)-HETE ELISA用于15-LOX活性的测量。
这种竞争性ELISA可用于多达24个样品的一式三份分析,并包含一个96孔板,一个小瓶15-HETE标准品、一小瓶15-HETE-缀合的HRP以及用于样品和HRP稀释液的缓冲液,以及洗盘子。
