Description
GLEITMO SFL 9550 is a selected combination of solid lubricants, organic binders ａnd solvents. Upon curing, GLEITMO SFL 9550 forms a dry, solid film lubricant firmly adhering, resistant to oil, to solvents ａnd to high pressures, with outstanding corrosion protection, applicable over a wide range of temperatures.
Field of application
GLEITMO SFL 9550 improves running in conditions ａnd is suitable for lifetime lubrication in combination with an excellent corrosion protection. GLEITMO SFL 9550 is especially suitable for application on bulk parts (e.g. bolts, levers, automotive door locking parts).
Method of application
The parts to be coated should be thoroughly degreased. GLEITMO SFL 9550 specially developed for mass part application via centrifuging or tumbling methods but it is also suitable for spray coating application. To increase the adhesive strength, ａnd therefore the lifetime of the coating, pre-treatment of the surfaces is recommended by phosphatising or sand-blasting.
