4. First aid measures
First aid
- Inhalation : In case if dizziness move to fresh air. If symptoms continue, ask for medical
help.
- Skin contact : Wash with soap ａnd plenty of water. In case of appearance & persistence of
skin rash, seek medical advice. In case of injury from injection of oil with high
pressure under the skin seek medical advice immediately.
- Eye contact : Wipe the product that is on ａnd around the eye with clean bandages. Flush
immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes keeping the
eyes open until the rash goes away. If rash persists seek medical attention.
- Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. keep calm ａnd warm ａnd seek medical assistance.
5. Fire - fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishers : Use foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide
Extinguishers not to be used : Do not use water jet.
Special exposure hazards : This product may give rise to hazardous fumes such as carbon monoxide
(CO) in a fire.
Protection against fire : Self-contained breathing masks, special gloves, eye masks, etc. Also go to
paragraph 4 for first aid.
Main hazards : Not a dangerous preparation according to 1999/45/EC.
Adverse human health effects : None under normal conditions. Nevertheless continuous ａnd repeated skin
contact may cause dermatitis as most mineral oils, lubricants. Used
lubricants may contain hazardous foreign substances. In case of dissipation
(fog) of the lubricant restrictive measures should be taken

6. Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : See section 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION..
Ground spillages : Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth or with a suitable absorbent.
Recover by pumping with suitable pump.
Dispose according to legislation.
Water spillage : Contain the spillage with floating barriers ａnd other suitable absorbents. Also
if is accepted by the local authorities, suitable dissolvents may be used.
7. Handling ａnd storage
Handling : During handling, appropriate measures should be taken to avoid possible
leakage by use of appropriate protective equipment.
Storage : The product should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from
heating points ａnd strong oxidizing factors. The container should be sealed in
a dry place.
Packaging : Suggested pale material is high density poly-ethylene (HDPE). Also avoid
using PVC for containers.
8. Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protection
- Respiratory protection : Make sure that working areas are well ventilated. For air dissipation of
lubricants (TWA - 8 hour working day) 5m3 according to ACGIH. When the
concentration in air cannot be controlled ａnd there is possibility of exceeding
the limit of professional exposure, breathing masks with molecular pro-filter
and filter for organic fumes must be used.
- Hand protection : PVC gloves should be worn. Hygiene measures should be taken such as
hand wash before eating or smoking.
- Skin protection :

Avoid continues contact with skin. Wear boiler suits in order to minimize skin
contact. When the concentration in air cannot be controlled or may exceed
limits, use appropriate breathing devices.
- Eye protection : Protective eye-masks should be worn if there is possibility of contact with the
eyes.
Occupational Exposure Limits : ACGIH 8 hour TLV-TWA : 5 mg/m³ for oil mists.

Conditions to avoid : Store away from heat sources, bare flame, other flammable areas ａnd direct
sunlight.

contact of used oils which contain foreign dangerous substances.

and sediment. In the case of water release it will remain ａnd expand on the
surface.
