Product Description
GulfSea BD EP0 Grease is an Environmentally Sensitive Lubricant Grease. It is calcium based readily
biodegradable lubricant produced with sustainable non-toxic material ａnd high performance additives to
provide structural stability, resistance to water washout ａnd effective protection from wear ａnd corrosion
Features & Benefits
GulfSea BD EP0 Grease ａnd its components are biodegradable according to OECD test 301B ａnd can
be considered minimally toxic according to OECD tests 201/202/203 ａnd as such meets the VGP
definition of an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant.
The grease has a wide operating temperature range; -35°C to +90°C.
May be applied manually or by suitable mechanical applicators.
Good resistance to the water wash-off.
Provides effective corrosion protection to metals commonly found in the marine environment.
Has excellent EP/load carrying capabilities containing EP additives to reduce wear ａnd friction.
Long shelf life of 5 years when stored in sealed containers out of direct sunlight.
Applications
Use in marine applications demanding a biodegradable VGP compliant NLGI 0 grease.
General greasing of deck equipment ａnd wire ropes.
Rudder stock lubrication.
Winch ａnd windlass lubrication.
