Generally speaking, 2 ~ 4 chiller units should be selected, 2 small ａnd medium-sized units should be selected, 3 larger units can be selected, ａnd 4 super large units can be selected. The possibility of alternate ａnd switching between units should be considered. In the same machine room, different types ａnd capacities of units can be used to match the combined scheme to save energy consumption. At least one of the units running in parallel should be selected which has a higher degree of automation, better regulation performance ａnd can ensure efficient operation under partial load. When selecting piston chiller, it is advisable to choose multi-head automatic co-control chiller.
