Uricase
Uricase (EC1.7.3.3) is also called urate oxidase, which is extracted from the fermentation liquid of Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus. It is made of white freeze-dried powder or gray to brownish green crystal or bright and transparent flake, slightly soluble in alkaline buffer, with pH value of 6.3. The enzyme activity is inhibited by cyanide, and the inhibiting agents such as Ag+, Hg2+.
Uric acid is difficult to dissolve. when it is high, it will deposit in the tissue to form calculus. Therefore, urase can reduce uric acid in blood and increase urinic acid excretion in urine in patients with hyperuricemia, thereby eliminating the retention of uric acid in blood and tissues, and also determining the amount of uric acid in blood and urine.
Uricase of our company is a recombinant product with high purity and good activity.
Biochemical research: it can catalyze the rapid oxidation of uric acid to produce allantoic acid. It is used for the determination of urine acid in serum and urine.
