the prosoft technology mvi94-dfcm module is the fastest and easiest way to add df1 half/full duplex master and slave capability to the flex platform. the mvi94-dfcm module is a single i/o slot, backplane compatible solution for the allen-bradley flex platform. this module has one powerful and fully configurable df1 half/full duplex master/slave ports allowing the many scada and field devices supporting the df1 protocol to be integrated into the flex platform.

• the mvi94-dfcm module has two serial ports

  prt1 -- debug/configuration port

  prt2 -- application port

prt2 is jumper configured for direct or multi-dr-op field communication via rs-232/422/485.

• the module is plug compatible with all allen-bradley flex and flex integra i/o products. the mvi94-dfcm is enabled and controlled with simple ladder logic and data table initialization. once configured, the module will perform all protocol related functions on a stand-alone basis.

module configuration and operating control are setup using a text file that can be downloaded into the module using most terminal software packages
