This minimizes evaporation, prevents spillage ａnd well-to-well contamination, ａnd eliminates edge effects in sensitive ELISA assays. Polyester plate films can also be used with tissue culture plates for short-term storage, incubation, ａnd containment of biohazards. Color-coded sealing plate films are equipped with a color dot ａnd white marking area on each end tab for plate identification. End tabs with backing removed adhere to the ends of the plate ａnd are perforated so they can be left in place even if the center portion of the film is removed. One inscribed color-coded end tab can be removed for recording purposes while the other remains on the plate.
Strip films are designed for sealing only one or two 8-well rows at a time on either strip-well plates or standard plates. Strip films are ideally suited for applications requiring rows to be selectively protected or accessed. Each strip film includes two removeable positioning tabs.
All films are non-pierceable.
