产品介绍：Synaptotagmins （Syts） are a large gene family of synaptic vesicle integral membrane proteins. Syt functions as regulators of both exocytosis/endocytosis ａnd is involved in neurotransmitter secretion from smallsecretory vesicles. 13 isoforms of Syt have been identified（SytI-XIII）.SynaptotagminVI is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum and/or Golgi like perinuclear compartment. It may be important for trafficking ａnd calcium signaling as it is specially expressed in nonneuronal tissues. Also SytVI is present in the acrosomal region of mammalian spermatozoa. The cytosolic domain of SytVI can abrogate exocytosis by competing with the endogenous protein for essential interactions with the fusion machinery involved in a acrosomal exocytosis.Subcellular Location : Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle, synaptic vesicle membrane; Single-pass membrane protein. Isoform 1: Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein. Note=Localized predominantly to endoplasmic reticulum （ER） and/or Golgi-like perinuclear compartment. Isoform 2: Cytoplasm, cytosol. Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein.Similarity : Belongs to the synaptotagmin family.Contains 2 C2 domains.Subunit : Homodimer （isoform 1）. Isoform 1 forms heterodimers with SytIII, SytV ａnd SytX. Interacts with STX1A, STX1B ａnd STX2; the interaction is Ca（2+）-dependent. Isoform 2 is not able to form homodimer ａnd heterodimers.
