产品介绍：Cytokeratin 18 is an acidic keratin which is found primarily in non squamous epithelia ａnd is present in a majority of adenocarcinomas ａnd ductal carcinomas but not in squamous cell carcinomas. Cytokeratin 18 exists in combination with Cytokeratin 8, a basic keratin. Hepatocellular carcinomas have been reportedly defined by the use of antibodies that recognize only Cytokeratins 8 ａnd 18.Tissue Specificity : Expressed in endoderm, intestinal epithelial cells ａnd in most extraembryonic tissues.Similarity : Belongs to the intermediate filament family.Subunit : Heterotetramer of two type I ａnd two type II keratins. KRT18 associates with KRT8. Interacts with PNN, HCV core protein ａnd mutated CFTR. Interacts with YWHAE, YWHAH ａnd YWHAZ only when phosphorylated. Interacts with the thrombin-antithrombin complex. Interacts with DNAJB6, TCHP ａnd TRADD （By similarity）.结构蛋白（Structural Proteins）常用于肿瘤细胞的分化、增殖及转移方面的研究。
