产品介绍：IL16 is a proinflammatory cytokine that is chemotactic for CD4+ T lymphocytes, monocytes, ａnd eosinophils. IL16 is synthesized as a precursor molecule （pro IL16） of approximately 68 kDa ａnd 631 amino acid residues lacking a signal peptide. The sequence ａnd structure of IL16 is conserved across species. In addition to inducing chemotaxis, IL16 upregulates the IL2 receptor ａnd upregulates HLADR expression. It also inhibits T cell receptor （TCR）/CD3 dependent activation, ａnd suppresses HIV1 replication in vitro. Sources of IL16 include epithelial cells, mast cells, T lymphocytes （CD4+ ａnd CD8+）, macrophages, synovial fibroblasts, ａnd eosinophils. Subcellular Location : Interleukin-16: Secreted. Isoform 1: Cytoplasm. Isoform 3: Cytoplasm. Nucleus.Tissue Specificity : Isoform 3 is expressed in hemopoietic tissues, such as resting T-cells, but is undetectable during active T-cell proliferation.Similarity : Contains 4 PDZ （DHR） domains.Subunit : Homotetramer （Probable）. According to PubMed:9699630, the formation of a homotetrameric protein complex is not required for the chemo-attractant function. Isoform 3 interacts （via PDZ 3 domain） with PPP1R12A, PPP1R12B ａnd PPP1R12C. Isoform 1 interacts with PPP1R12B. Isoform 3 interacts with GRIN2A. Isoform 3 interacts with GABPB1.
