产品介绍：MAP3K8 is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase can activate both the MAP kinase ａnd JNK kinase pathways. MAP3K8 activates IkappaB kinases, ａnd thus induces the nuclear production of NF-kappaB. It also promotes the production of TNF-alpha ａnd IL-2 during T lymphocyte activation. There are two isoforms of MAP3K8: a 58 kDa ａnd a 53 kDa form. The 58 kDa form is activated specifically during the S ａnd G2/M phases of the cell cycle. The longer 58 kDa form undergoes phosphorylation on Ser residues mainly, ａnd the shorter 53 kDa form undergoes phosphorylation on both Ser ａnd Thr residues.Subcellular Location : Cytoplasm.Tissue Specificity : Expressed in several normal tissues ａnd human tumor-derived cell lines.Similarity : Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. STE Ser/Thr protein kinase family. MAP kinase kinase kinase subfamily. Contains 1 protein kinase domain.Subunit : Forms a ternary complex with NFKB1 ａnd TNIP2.
