产品介绍：NMDA receptors are a class of ionotropic glutamate receptors. NMDA receptor channel has been shown to be involved in long term potentiation, an activity dependent increase in the efficiency of synaptic transmission thought to underlie certain types of memory ａnd learning. NMDA receptor channels are heteromers composed of the key receptor subunit NMDAR1 （GRIN1） ａnd 1 or more of the 4 NMDAR2 subunits: NMDAR2A （GRIN2A）, NMDAR2B （GRIN2B）, NMDAR2C （GRIN2C）, ａnd NMDAR2D （GRIN2D）. GRIN2B may be a candidate gene for the neurodegenerative disorder dentato-rubro-pallidoluysian atrophy （DRPLA）.Subcellular Location : Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction, synapse, postsynaptic cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.Tissue Specificity : Primarily found in the fronto-parieto-temporal cortex ａnd hippocampus pyramidal cells, lower expression in the basal ganglia.Similarity : Belongs to the glutamate-gated ion channel （TC 1.A.10.1） family. NR2B/GRIN2B subfamily.Subunit : Forms heteromeric channel of a zeta subunit （GRIN1）, a epsilon subunit （GRIN2A, GRIN2B, GRIN2C or GRIN2D） ａnd a third subunit （GRIN3A or GRIN3B）.
