产品介绍：VASH1 is a angiogenesis inhibitor. It inhibits migration, proliferation ａnd network formation by endothelial cells as well as angiogenesis. This inhibitory effect is selective to endothelial cells as it does not affect the migration of smooth muscle cells or fibroblasts. It does not affect the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, but inhibits tumor growth ａnd tumor angiogenesis ａnd acts in an autocrine manner. VASH1 also inhibits artery neointimal formation ａnd macrophage infiltration ａnd exhibits heparin-binding activity. There are two named isoforms.Subcellular Location : Secreted.Tissue Specificity : Preferentially expressed in endothelial cells. Highly expressed in fetal organs. Expressed in brain ａnd placenta, ａnd at lower level in heart ａnd kidney. Highly detected in microvessels endothelial cells of atherosclerotic lesions.Similarity : Belongs to the vasohibin family.VASH1是一个内皮组织衍生的可被血管内皮生长因子诱导的分泌性蛋白质,它是目前为止发现的以负反馈为作用机制调节血管新生的因子。它的发现证实在血管新生的过程中也存在经典的自身调节控制机制—负反馈调节机制的存在。
