| Introduction | RAP1A is part of the family of RAS-related proteins which possess 50% amino acid identity with the classical RAS proteins ａnd have various structural characteristics in common. RAP proteins differ from RAS proteins in their 61st amino acid, glutamine in RAS is replaced by threonine in RAP proteins. RAP1A induces morphological reversion of a cell line transformed by a Ras oncogene ａnd counteracts the mitogenic function of Ras, since it can interact with Ras GAPs ａnd RAF in a competitive manner. |
| Description | RAP1A Recombinant E.coli produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 201 amino acids （1-181 a.a.） ａnd having a molecular mass of 22.8 kDa. The RAP1A is fused to 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus ａnd purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
