| Introduction | GrpE , co-chaperone of E.coli, participates actively in the response to hyperosomotic ａnd heat shock by preventing the aggregation of stress-denatured proteins in association with DnaK. This protein is the nucleotide exchange factor for DnaK ａnd may function as a thermosensor. Several rounds of ATP-dependent interactions between DnaJ, DnaK ａnd GrpE are required for fully efficient folding. |
| Description | GrpE Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 197 amino acids ａnd having a molecular mass of 21.8 kDa. The GrpE is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
