产品介绍：CD99 is a 32kDa glycoprotein, which is thought to be involved in cell adhesion processes. Expression of CD99 is a characteristic of cells from Ewing＇s sarcoma ａnd primitive peripheral neuroectodermal tumours. However expression is also seen in certain normal cells such as pancreatic islet cells, cortical thymocytes, Sertoli cells ａnd ovarian granulosa cells. Mature granulocytes express very little or no CD99.Subunit : Homodimer. Interacts with PILRB.Subcellular Location : Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.Tissue Specificity : Widely expressed with high levels in lung, spleen, thymus, liver ａnd spinal chord. Expressed on leukocytes ａnd endothelial cell contacts. Detected in a wide range of T-cells, including CD4-/CD8- ａnd CD4+/CD8+ thymocytes.
