Product Description
CFM is a sterile, uniquely formulated cell freezing medium. It is a cost effective alternative to making your own cryopreservation medium ａnd allows you to focus on your post-preservation studies. CFM consists of 10% fetal bovine serum, 10% DMSO ａnd 10 mM HEPES in modified MCDB 131 medium. This product has a pH of 7.2 at room temperature. CFM has been shown to significantly improve cell viability ａnd function following cryopreservation in comparison to traditional DMEM + serum + DMSO approaches.

CFM is used to cryopreserve most mammalian cells. It is for research use only. Not for use in animals, humans, or diagnostic procedures.
Storage
Store the CFM at -20°C. Once thawed, the product may be stored at 4°C for up to one month.
