Autoclaving Protocol
Autoclave at 121℃ (250℉) at 15 psi (1 atm.) for 15 minutes. Do not use a drying cycle. Remove from autoclaving once the temperature has reached at least 80℃.
Autoclaving Caution
Excessive exposure to autoclaving heat may cause warping or decreased structural integrity. Do not exceed autoclaving recommendations.
NOT ALL PRODUCTS ARE AUTOCLAVABLE.
Microtube Packaging
| Bulk Packaging | Microtubes are shipped in resealable plastic bags and are packed in individual boxes, keeping them free from contaminants and easy to store. |
Autoclaving Guidelines
121℃ | To ensure successful steam sterilization of your plastic labware, please adhere to the following guidelines: Autoclave all plastic consumables at 121℃ for 15 minutes, 15 psi/1 atm. Do not use a dry cycle as this may cause deformation or weakening of the plastic. Allow temperature within the autoclave to return to at least 80℃ before removing the product. |
