简介：蛋白酶K是一个稳定、高活性丝氨酸蛋白酶。晶体和分子结构研究的表明其属于枯草杆菌蛋白酶家族，活性催化位点为 Asp39－His69－Ser224。在广泛的pH、缓冲盐，表面活性剂(SDS)和温度范围内保持稳定。在0.1－0.5% SDS中，蛋白酶K保留活性，降解各种蛋白质和核酸酶，在不影响DNA的完整性的前提下提取DNA。

用途及描述：科研试剂。蛋白酶K是DNA和RNA提取中使核酸酶失活。用于除去结合到如溶菌酶和核糖核酸酶A等阳离子蛋白上的内毒素；并用于确定酶在膜上的位置；用于石蜡嵌入组织部分的处理为抗体标记暴露抗原结合位点；
