$n The Vortex-Genie 1 touch mixer provides stronger handheld vortexing. Economical ａnd easy-to-use, it features violent high-speed vortexing action for maximum agitation in problem applications. Operator simply holds the container on the mixing head ａnd the mixer starts automatically at maximum speed. Stops on release. The familiar Vortex-Genie 2 mixers accept a large range of snap-on accessories for variable speed mixing, from gentle shaking to violent vortexing of most containers up to 500mL. Select touch-on or continuous operation. The timed Vortex-Genie 2T mixer includes a timer function in either continuous untimed, touch, or hands-free mode. Touch mode: 1–60 seconds. Hands-free mode: 1–60 minutes. The Digital Vortex-Genie 2 mixer includes digital control ａnd display of speed, time, accuracy, reproducibility, ａnd repeatability. Touch mode: 1–99 seconds. Hands-free mode: 1–99 minutes. All models are built of a solid 4kg （8.8lbs.） cast-metal base with rubber feet that prevent “walking”.
$nOptional accessories vastly increase the versatility of the vortexers. The TurboMix* attachment provides hands-free, simultaneous, extremely vigorous vortexing ａnd mixing of up to 12 microtubes. It is designed for cell disruptions ａnd other glass bead procedures ａnd pellet resuspensions. The multiple sample starter set （58815-230） includes a 15.2cm （6"） platform with one 60-microtube ｉnsert for 0.5–2.0mL tubes ａnd one microplate insert. The large sample set （58815-224） includes a recessed platform ａnd two elastic bands for securing large flasks ａnd beakers up to 500mL. Also includes one foam ｉnsert each for 9–16mm test tubes, 16–29mm test tubes, 29–37mm test tubes, ａnd one customizable blank foam insert. The two-tier ｉnsert （13500-962） fits into the 15.2cm （6"） platform （58815-212）.

$n Ordering Information:Supplied with manufacturer’s two-year warranty on all models. The Vortex-Genie 1 is supplied with a quick change standard pop-off cup to accommodate single test tubes. The Vortex-Genie 2, 2T, ａnd digital models are supplied with a quick-change standard cup for single test tubes ａnd a 7.6cm （3"） platform for beakers, flasks, ａnd multiple test tubes. The 230V models do not include a plug.
