the 2100an and 2100n laboratory turbidimeter display in units of nephelos (0-67 000 nephelos), ebcs (european brewery convention, 0-2, 450 ebcs), % transmittance, absorbence or colour units (apha ptco method). in addition, two application specific calibrations may be specified by the analyst. the application specific mode uses the nephelometric optical system in the same manner as the ntu measurement mode. special method development and sample characterisation also can be accomplished using the signal output from any of the four detectors.

features exclusive to 2100an turbidity meter wider turbidity measurement range - 0 to 10,000 ntus; 0 to 67,000 nephelos; and 0 to 2450 ebcs--with automatic range se-lection and decimal point placement in each mode.
measures absorbance, % transmittance or color - user can se-lect from one of four measurement modes: turbidity, absorbance, transmittance or platinum-cobalt color units.
interchangeable 455 nm color filter for apha pt-co color measurement - a flow-thru cell is recommended when measuring color.
user specified unit display - enables user to customize units as needed for specific applications.
independent detector monitoring - independent detector signal readouts enable special method development or sample characterization.
programmable signal averaging - stabilizes displayed value if large or irregular shaped particles cause measured value to fluctuate excessively. user adjustable to 15 seconds.
built-in printer - features a built-in 28 column thermal printer.
real-time clock - permits date and time recording for measurements and calibration records. information is included in the printer report and rs232 data output.
sample identification number - identifies sample by number and includes information in the printer report and rs232 data output.
flow-cell capability - instrument accommodates any of three convenient flow-cell systems for improved accuracy and convenience in the laboratory. 2100an software enables operator to program flow time, duration, and static or dynamic measurements.
recorder output - recorder output expands instrument recording capability. internal printer, external rs232 and recorder outputs send signals simultaneously.
