用途： 络合指示剂，检验钙、铬、镁、锰、铅和锌等，农业上用于土壤分析、植株分析等。

介绍： 溶于水呈玫瑰红色，在碱性溶液中呈灰蓝色。通常与萘酚绿B配合使用，简称“K－B混合指示剂”在碱性条件下，呈蓝绿色，萘酚绿在使用中本身并无颜色变化，仅起衬托终点颜色得作用。在碱性条件下，试剂与某些金属离子络合，形成玫瑰红色络合物。常被用作EDTA滴定钙的指示剂，也用于钙，镁总量的测定。试剂水溶液不稳定，常于氯化钠粉末配成固体混合物保存合使用"
