华为近日宣布，在德国埃森召开的2010年世界红点奖（Reddot Design Award）颁奖仪式上，华为自主设计的ODN ATB(Access Terminal Box)产品荣获2010年度产品设计红点奖。华为成为本届获奖的通信企业，显示了华为在工业设计上的创新能力。

红点奖是1955年由欧洲*具声望的德国著名设计协会Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen于德国埃森市设立，被誉为工业设计界的“奥斯卡”奖。该奖项以评选标准苛刻著称，由产品设计奖、传达设计奖及设计概念奖三大部分组成。入选产品必须有区别于其他同类产品的创新特点，代表着该领域全球*出色的工业设计水平。

由于其巨大的影响力，2010年度仅红点产品设计奖就吸引了来自全球57个国家和地区超过1636间设计公司的4252件作品，竞争十分激烈。华为ODN ATB产品凭借其新颖的外型和高可靠性设计脱颖而出，赢得了与会嘉宾的高度认可。
